FAQS
Q.Are dogs allowed?
Yes, we allow well behaved dogs, maximum 2, (please notify in your enquiry if you may want to include in your booking) - but not on the furniture and beds, for obvious hygiene and allergy reasons. Please remember to bring your dog's bedding, towel (for those soggy walks), poop bags (preferably eco!) and food bowls. I find that they settle better in a new place with their own familiar things, although we do have a dog bed to use in the cottage should you need it.
Also, please be aware that there are deer roaming through the garden so please be mindful taking out your dog - sometimes those stags can be startled.
Q. Is there a shower?
Unfortunately not. Due to the low ceiling in the cottage bathroom, we only have a bath, but it has an Edwardian style shower mixer tap so with a little care you can have a sit in the bath shower!
Q. Is there off road parking?
Yes, the right turning is very tight coming into the track to the cottage from the A830 Fort William, but if you go another 100 yards or so to the Lochailort Inn you can turn there and and come back into the driveway approaching from the left. The cottage is the end one of the two railway cottages and it has a place to turn and park at the end in the garden.
Q. Where do I collect the keys?
There is a key safe at the cottage. You will be sent the code by email once the balance payment has been made. If you have any problems please contact the phone number provided in the booking confirmation email for help
