Welcome
Druimbhan is just the cutest old railway workers cottage dating back to the beginning of the 20th century, and retaining much of it's original charm and character.
If you are looking for hot tubs, funky kitchen gadgets and cutting edge coffee machines this isn't the place for you, but if you want a cosy, well equipped cottage with a gorgeous log burner, read on.
The cottage sleeps 2 and is located in the tranquil hamlet of Lochailort. It has been sympathetically restored whilst giving a nod to modern day living with wifi, central heating and funky furnishings. There is no TV (quite deliberately) but you can bring your laptop and stream your favourite programmes if you need some down time from your outdoor adventures.
Along with the double bedroom with fitted wardrobes, there is a kitchen equipped for self catering, with a cooker, microwave and fridge freezer, a dining and living area, as well as a drying room with laundry facilities for all of your kit. Outside you can enjoy your breakfast on the veranda by the babbling burn.

We had a wonderful stay here - the cottage was quite rustic but had everything we needed and was lovely and cosy. The setting is beautiful and location is great with the pub just a five minute walk away, the railway station even closer and lots of things to see and do just a short drive away. The walks from Polnish to Peanmeanach and Morar to Tarbet (with boat back to Mallaig!) were two particular highlights. This is a special part of the world and we hope to return at some point in the future!
absolutely gorgeous cottage.. peaceful..cosy..resident stag..Good location..
This cottage is a little gem. Perfect getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of life ideally situated for visiting nearby attractions like camusdarach White sand beach, Skye, Knoydart etc.
The cottage is in a lovely remote location next to a brook that bubbles away, it's and excellent place to jnwind and relax. Myself, my partner and the dog had a lovely experience here over a weeks stay. Mornings on the whitesand beach, followed by a drive around the Highlands to an attraction and then settled down by the log burning fire for a cozy night in. The cottage was lovely and clean, well equipped, even has a washer and a dryer, and the WiFi was excellent it never dropped out. Can't wait to return, the host is great aswell.
Fantastic cottage. For me the perfect stay for our trip around Scotland in 23. Loved the woodfire, the peaty water in the bathtub, the beautifull stream next to the house and the mindblowing region.
